Brian Pate Jones

Brian Pate Jones

Owner/Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Brian Pate Jones is a graduate of Magnolia Heights in Senatobia. He attended Mississippi College and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. After graduating Mississippi College, Brian decided to join the family business and went on to complete his Associate of Applied Sciences in Mortuary Science from Northwest Mississippi Community College. Brian began his career in the family funeral business in 1993. He is the great grandson of C.O. Pate, the founder of our funeral home. Brian is married to Cindy and they have one daughter, Olivia.  


Mary Anne Jones Sinquefield

Owner/Licensed Funeral Director

Mary Anne Jones Sinquefield graduated from Magnolia Heights. She attended Northwest Mississippi Community College then transferred to Baptist College of Health Sciences where she graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Radiological Studies. After graduating college, Mary Anne worked for Baptist Hospital as a Radiation Therapist. She joined the family funeral home business in 2009 and received her Funeral Director License in 2012. Mary Anne is the great granddaughter of C.O. Pate, the founder of our funeral home. She is married to Chad Sinquefield.  Chad works at Senatobia High School where he has been a teacher, coach and Athletic Director. Mary Anne and Chad have two children, Luke and Logan.  


Olivia Jones Saunders

Olivia Jones Saunders joined the family funeral home in 2019 which is the year she graduated from Senatobia High School. She is the daughter of Brian and Cindy Jones and the great great granddaughter of C.O. Pate. Olivia continued her education at Northwest Mississippi Community College and obtained an Associates of Arts degree. She went on to attend the University of Mississippi and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. After graduation, Olivia married her high school sweetheart, Hunter Saunders. Olivia is currently pursuing her Funeral Director and Insurance Licenses. She takes great pride in being the fifth generation of the family’s funeral business.  


Pat Kizziah

Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Pat Kizziah graduated from Briarcrest Christian School and Northwest Mississippi Community College where he earned an Associate of Applied Sciences in Mortuary Science. Pat moved to Senatobia in 1980 to work at the funeral home for C.O. Pate. He actually lived inside the funeral home in an apartment which is now our break room. In 1990, he was appointed the Tate County Deputy Coroner under Buddy Kirkland. Pat was elected the Tate County Coroner in 1996 and served for over 30 years in that position. He is married to the former Cynthia Little of Oxford, Mississippi. Pat and Cynthia have four children, one grandchild and two dogs.


Britne Dodson

Britne Dodson is a graduate of Senatobia High School and Northwest Mississippi Community College where she earned her Associate of Applied Sciences in Funeral Services. Britne has been a funeral director for over 13 years with 8 of those years at Pate-Jones Funeral Home. She is married and has 3 wonderful children, Marle, Emerson, and Waylon. Britne's husband, Jeremy, works at the DeSoto County Sheriff's Department.


Willie Dennis

Funeral Assistant

Willie Dennis graduated from Hernando High School in 1973. He worked for American Electric from 1973 - 1990 and as a reserve police officer for Hernando Police Department from 1987 - 1990. During that time, Willie worked part-time for Hernando Funeral Home and Pate-Jones Funeral Home. He has worked full-time for Pate-Jones Funeral Home since 2000. Willie has been married to Brenda Cobb Dennis for over 50 years. Brenda is a nurse and has a Master of Nursing Administration degree.  Willie and Brenda have 2 children, Stacie and Preston and 5 grandchildren. 


Cynthia Kizziah

Cynthia Kizziah is a graduate of Oxford High School and Northwest Mississippi Community College.  She started working at the funeral home in 2008.  Cynthia has been married to Pat Kizziah since 2007 and they have four children.  


Cindy Jones

Cindy Jones

Office Manager

Cindy Jones is a graduate of Senatobia High School. She attended Northwest Community College before transferring to Union University. Cindy graduated from Union University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and continued her education at the University of Mississippi obtaining a Master of Education in Educational Psychology. She worked for over 20 years as a School Counselor at various schools in Tate County including Coldwater High School, Senatobia Middle School and Senatobia High School. Cindy joined the family business in 2021 where she handles all our insurance and records. She is married to one of the owners, Brian and they have one daughter, Olivia. Cindy loves genealogy and restoring old monuments. She enjoys helping families with research and cleaning monuments. Her monument work can be found on her website - www.respectandrestore.com
